Buttons

Use “Call to Action” (CTA) buttons to help users complete tasks and move through your website. These belong at the end of a section or the bottom of a page.

Text in a CTA button should be actionable.
Users should be able to cover the rest of the text on the page and still understand the CTA button.
Do not use any punctuation in CTA buttons.
Capitalize the first word only, unless the CTA contains a proper noun.
Only two buttons should be listed in the same section. If you need more, consider using interactive panels.
Call-to-action buttons are left-justified on the page.

Interactive panels

Interactive panels are useful to create a “dashboard,” to display a list of external resources or scholarships, and more.

Interactive panels may be displayed in columns of two or columns of three.
You may include a title in a panel or a title with a sentence description.
Capitalize only the first word in a panel, unless there is a proper noun.
Do not use punctuation after the title of the panel unless it is a question.
Use punctuation if you choose to include a sentence in a panel.

You can add descriptive text to an interactive panel in order to give context to the title and inform users what they will find when they follow the panel.
